Charlotte Harbor, ranked as one of the top places to sail in the world by Sail Magazine is just 10 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. It is the second largest estuary in Florida encompassing 270 square miles. Every time we sail we see Dolphins, often up close as shown on this site and occasionally we'll be lucky enough to see a giant Sea Turtle.
We'll show you where to anchor and help you spot dolphins and where the best shelling is and where the most private beaches are...you will relax, unwind and get back to nature here, that is why we love it! For the price, you won't find a more reasonable sailboat charter on the entire west coast!
Just call us and we'll be glad to help 207-647-4400 (Florida and Maine Business Line)

Cabbage Key

Take the ASA's word on this...Their description of their Pine Island Sound Regatta speaks of Cabbage Key...
"Accessible only by boat, helicopter or seaplane (we will be using
boats) this is a "place out of time"; it hasn't changed for almost 50
years! One hundered acres of tropical vegetation surround the historic
restaurant, inn and cottages. A panoramic view of Pine Island Sound is
provided from the front porch atop a thirty-eight foot Indian shell
mound. There are no cars here, not even a paved road. You will find
winding nature trails, picturesque views and plenty of relaxation. Make
sure you bring some one dollar bills as it is a tradition to stick a
bill on the wall with your boat's name on it (all bills are eventually
donated to charity). The Inn is literally wall papered with bills from
visitors, including ones from the likes of Jimmy Buffet and Burt
Reynolds!" - American Sailing Association
